Cafe am Blautopf in Blaubeuren

The cafe is right next to the Blautopf. Right on the water. Small and fine. The food was delicious. The public toilet was not acceptable !!!!!

Great service, attentive staff and a delicious selection of cakes and drinks

Waitresses are nice and hardworking. It was pretty well filled but you could feel very comfortable. Only the chatter of the children in the restaurant bothers me. Prices are ok. Salad tastes good too, especially the cheese bites. The cake was very fine, you won't get it anywhere else. Only the speed could still be worked on.

I honestly can't understand the bad reviews at all. The café was very busy and still we got drinks and food quickly. The service was nice and accommodating and the food was delicious. In the Google chat, I contacted the Café am Blautopf because we were told that there were no fries during the week. Got an answer within 10 minutes. Unfortunately, they are not allowed to run a deep fryer in the very old house, so French fries are only available on weekends if there is a stand outside. It's okay for me :)

Went there on the weekend and it was very busy. Nevertheless, we had a very nice wait staff and after a short waiting time our food came, which was also very tasty. Nice destination after the bike tour, cold beer and delicious sausage salad, courteous staff. We will be back.

Instead of spaghetti ice cream, you get spaghetti sauce. In addition, the spaghetti ice cream is served in completely unsuitable bowls, where the ice cream drains completely as soon as it is completely melted. Ice cream generally doesn't taste good.

Ordered a salad with chicken breast strips. Is really tasty, portion size is right, you get full. At the moment you get assigned to your tables, but you can also express requests that are taken into account (in the shade, next to the water, etc.), you can also make a reservation. Waiting times longer than expected are particularly important on the drinks.

The café is located directly on the Blautopf and is therefore certainly a good destination if you want to see the Blautopf and its surroundings (the circular route is recommended!). I can recommend the drinks, but ... ... please don't order schnitzel (see photo). That was a joke. Two of them would have folded up on a Swabian roll without the edge protruding. The advertised French fries weren't available either, but potato salad (under all cannon). The chef should urgently change his job, or maybe do an apprenticeship first? Where I come from, the "schnitzel" would have been knocked around his ears. Especially since: at the price a real cheek. The service, however, is good, hard-working, and relatively quick, with a pretty big crowd today. I could not find any disregard for the corona rules.

My girlfriend and I went on a trip to the Blautopf. Super nice idyllic place despite many tourists. After a short wait, we got a seat right on the water. We had very nicely arranged sundaes and then another great drink, the Blautopf Spray. I can only recommend it.

My girlfriend and I went there after a round in the Blautopf. Waiting time at the entrance, if okay. But then waiting 40 minutes for two cappuccinos and another 15 minutes for two pretzels is an absolute cheek! Even though both have been ordered at the same time! Only after asking for the third time was the response ...

Nice view by the restaturant . They have a nice icecream selection.

Good and courteous staff. The selection of homemade cakes is varied and tastes excellent. Add to that the sensational view - definitely worth a visit!

A very nice place to have a drink at the Blautopf and eat a tasty snack. Despite the fact that there is a lot going on, the drinks and the food are there quickly. And if it takes longer, the friendly staff will draw your attention to it. In such a great place, people like to wait a little longer for food in such a case. My recommendation is the delicious tarte flambee. Overall, the café is highly recommended. We always like to come back.

Were there today. Beautiful atmosphere with brilliant live music. Very nice service and a large selection of inexpensive dishes. Had a salad and tarte flambee, all fresh and delicious. I can only recommend it.

Very nice place to enjoy a coffee after a walk around the lake. Service was friendly. Sanitary facilities acceptable despite high visitor numbers.

Actually quite good, you just have to get the right waitress. A young lady was very nice, with the other one unfortunately noticed that you don't like all of that, too bad!

Best location, right on Blautopf. You sit here relaxed with a drink and possibly a snack and enjoy the panorama. We were served quickly and nicely, the food was good, and surprisingly cheap for the location.

We ordered two Flammkuchen, waited 40 minutes and only one of them made it to our table. View is great, food was delicious but service was very bad.
